The Fifth International Laurence Sterne Foundation Conference will take place in Venice, at Ca’Foscari University, in the historical palazzo on the Grand Canal, from 9 to 11 November 2023.

This year’s theme will be Laurence Sterne’s Words and Worlds: the relationship in his works between experience and expression, truth and fiction, reference and style.
